This season's Midday Pipes organ series at First United Methodist Church of San Diego will be live-streamed and available on YouTube, due to Covid-19 restrictions imposed on in-person concert gatherings.

All concerts will begin at 12:15 PM and can be accessed at First Church YouTube Channel on the second Wednesday of the month from September through June.  We invite you to enjoy this beautiful organ music played by distinguished musicians on the 108-rank, 4-manual Blackinton & Associates pipe organ, the largest in San Diego County. Each performance will be approximately 45 minutes long.

Amber Dahlberg
Winner of Regional Competition for Young Artists (West) MM candidate, BYU Utah

Amber Dahlberg is master's student at Brigham Young University where she studies organ performance with Dr. Don Cook and Dr. Neil Harmon. Amber won first place in the Regional Competition for Young Organists for the west region of the American Guild of Organists in 2019. She is a Guest Tabernacle Organist for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she performs recitals in the Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah. In the Spring of 2018, Amber participated in BYU’s organ study abroad in France and looks forward to visiting and playing Germany’s notable organs in 2021. In addition to playing the organ and piano, Amber is an associate carillonneur at BYU. She plays the Centennial Bell Tower for noon recitals and graduations.
