A Prayer For the Beginning of Lent
O God,
As we prepare for this journey into Lent,
We pray that you will walk our path,
Co-maker of our decisions,
Help us resist our temptation,
Deal with our loneliness,
Face our trials,
Walk in and through our valleys,
We ask that you strengthen our spirit,
For the journey to Easter,
Through Jesus,
Amen.
