The First United Methodist Church of San Diego is soliciting grant applications for its 2026 Racial Justice Grants Cycle.
The Racial Justice Grants Committee will be recommending grants totaling $24,000 (up to $15,000 per grantee) for organizations that actively promote racial justice in San Diego County, with a special focus of non-profit organizations providing physical and mental health service and resources to communities of color, especially those serving vulnerable populations, such as the elderly, addiction & recovery, and families with children.
Application Submission:
To be considered for the 2026 Grant Cycle, all application materials must be received by July 31, 2026. Interviews with finalists will take place in August, and final funding determinations will be made by September.
Complete applications will include:
- Completed grant application (this form)
- Proof of 501c3 Tax-exempt status or fiscal sponsorship
- Annual operating budget, or project budget if request funds for a specific project
