Commander Peter John Glor USN (ret.) passed on March 24, 2026 surrounded by his children Steve Glor, Jason Glor, and Jennifer Edelstein. A service will be held at Miramar National Cemetery on April 16 at 11:15 AM.
Ching Wang passed on March 3, 2026 surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held in the sanctuary on April 11 at 11 AM; it will also be livestreamed on YouTube.
Mary Louise Davis passed on February 12, 2026. She was the wife of Pastor George Davis, who served this church for many years. No services will be held.
George Taflan passed on February 1, 2026. Please keep his friends and family in your prayers. A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 7.
David G. Prickett passed on January 17, 2026. A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 1.
James Wells passed on January 17, 2026. A memorial service was held on Friday, March 20.
Sondra "Soni" Buesing passed on the morning of December 30, 2025. Please keep the friends and family of Sondra in your prayers. A memorial service was held in the sanctuary on February 20.
Joanna Iliew passed away on December 22, 2025. Joanna was a longtime member who recently relocated to Michigan. Please keep her friends and family in your prayers. Service information pending.
Carol Dubke passed away December 20, 2025. She is survived by her husband Duane, daughter Joleen, son Bruce, son-in-law Brian, two grandsons, and three great-grandchildren. There will be a private service at Miramar National Cemetery. Carol was instrumental in setting up Camp Cedar Glen; so, in lieu of flowers, the family request donations made to the Camp Cedar Glen camper scholarship fund.
Isabelle McCutchen passed away on December 1, 2025. She is survived by her husband Hugh McCutchen. An inurnment was held on December 26, 2025.
Ray Henderson passed away on November 25, 2025. Please keep the CREW and additional friends and family in your prayers. A memorial service was held on February 25.
Donna Wollitz passed away on November 8, 2025. She is survived by her children Howard (Debra), Bruce (Melinda), and Craig (Michele), as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 31.
Elaine Coon passed away on October 31, 2025. She is survived by her husband Rick Coon, daughter Samantha Levy, son Joshua Levy, and five grandchildren. A memorial service and inurnment were held on November 24 2025.
Clarene Hughes passed away on September 8, 2025. She is survived by her children John (Robin) Hughes, Diane (Joseph) Lemus, and 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. An inurnment was held in the Church's Memorial Garden on January 11, 2026.
Nels Carlson passed on August 3, 2025. An inurnment will be held in the Memorial Garden on April 12, 2026 to honor both Nels and his wife LaVerne who passed in 2024.
