Our Money Story: In-Person & Online Class

We all have a money story, whether we recognize it or not. Perhaps we are living from a story of fear or shame or guilt. Or a story that our actions won’t have an impact. Maybe it’s a story that we don’t have enough.
We often want to avoid talking about money, but we can reframe the conversation. Money and possessions are one of the most common topics in scripture, and Jesus talked about money more than faith and prayer. Our money story, therefore, is a spiritual story. Where might God be speaking a new narrative into the limited ones we have told ourselves?
During our stewardship season this year, join Jason Tucker and Rev. Dr. Hannah Ka in an exploration of your own money story and how that can impact our lives and our expressions of faith in the world. This 4-week class will help you reflect on your own money story and compare it with God’s Money Story, as told through the scriptures we’ll be exploring in worship.
We have two options for you to join:
- In-Person: Sundays (Sept. 8 - Sept. 29) at 10:15-10:45 AM in the Lower Sanctuary Meeting Room (Library) – Register For In-Person Class
- Online: Thursdays (Sept. 12 - Oct. 3) at 7-8 PM on Zoom (meeting details delivered in your registration confirmation email ) – Register For Online Class
