    Exploring Implicit & Explicit Racism in San Diego & Los Angeles Counties: Wed. July 8 - Sat. July 11

    How has Southern California been affected by implicit and explicit racism? Join us as we travel through San Diego and Los Angeles Counties to expand our understanding of expressions of racism on the West Coast. We start with two day trips exploring San Diego County followed by two days in Los Angeles. This experiential learning program will be packed with opportunities of discovery, including:

    • Museum of US
    • San Diego History Center
    • Julian Historical Society
    • Julian Gold Rush Hotel
    • Bruce’s Beach
    • California African American Museum
    • Chinese American Museum
    • Museum of Social Justice
    • And so much more!

    The pilgrimage is $450 per person and includes: all entry fees, ground transportation (7/9-7/11), hotel stay (7/10), lunch on 7/9 and breakfast on 7/11. Teens ages 14+ are invited to join when accompanied by an adult.
