Sam Houston Ridgway, DVM, Ph.D. Born in Bigfoot, Texas, on June 26, 1936 Died in San Diego, California, on July 10, 2022 & Jeanette Fuller Ridgway, Ph.D. Born in Richards, Texas, on February 21, 1939 Died in San Diego, California, on March 22, 2020.
Whether you are here in the Sanctuary this afternoon or participating virtually, the Ridgway family deeply appreciates your presence. They look forward to greeting you at a reception, located in Linder Lounge and Hall, off the Patio to the east of the Sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to The National Marine Mammal Foundation’s Ridgway Fund. The fund will help continue Sam’s life work in pioneering marine mammal medicine, science and conservation. nmmf.org/donations/ridgway-fund
