This group is for adults in their 70s and beyond who are looking for a daytime, in-person gathering where they can deepen and expand their faith in an honest, welcoming, and thoughtful community. Rooted in the inclusive spirit of First Church San Diego, the group is especially for those asking big questions, rethinking inherited beliefs, processing past church experiences, or simply seeking meaningful conversation, deeper peace, and a taste of heaven on earth through life-giving community.
Conversations are shaped by the interests, questions, and life experiences of the group and facilitated by a member of the clergy. Topics may include Christian doctrine, theology, inherited faith, deconstruction and reconstruction, doubt, church, culture, and what it means to live out faith today.
