Love sewing? Or have you always wanted to learn?
Join us for our annual fall workshop: Friday, November 7 & Saturday, November 8! We'll spend two days together sewing, learning, being inspired, and having fun. If you don't want to sew, you'll still find work for your hands: layering prayer quilts and putting in the ties. Or bring a project of your own!
New to sewing? You can come, too! Our expert sewers will provide an orientation to your sewing machine, break down the projects into simple-to-follow steps, and teach you how they assemble the prayer quilts. Projects and demonstrations include:
- Personal orientation of your sewing machine
- Sew block for group quilt
- Sew a simple girl’s dress for Dress a Girl Around the World
- Make a pillowcase for you to use, gift, or donate
- Learn how to assemble prayer quilts
Cost is $15 for both days, or $10 for one day, and includes a light lunch and project materials!
