Kids First Family Students Sunday School
Calling all Kids and Youth: Join your friends to grow your faith and have fun on Sunday mornings while preparing for a special spring musical: In the Image by Mark Burrows. This dynamic musical tells the story of students who discover that being created in the image of God isn't about physical appearance. It's about creativity, faithfulness, responsibility, community, and the ability to find the good in things.
Join us each Sunday in February through March 22 as we prepare for the performance, which will take place in Linder Hall on Sunday, March 22 at 11 AM.
Here's what we have planned for Sunday mornings:
- 9:15-11:45 AM – Spring Musical Rehearsal: Kids & Teens (grades K-12 start with families in the Sanctuary for our Traditional Worship service, then leave with the Sunday School teachers immediately after "A Time With Children". They'll work with Ms. Dana and Ms. Jill to prepare for a special Spring Musical.
Even if your child isn’t interested in performing, we have special ways for them to be involved! Please encourage them to join us 9:15-10AM so they can be part of this exciting opportunity to develop their creative talents.
Parents: Pick up times may vary from week to week if your child is performing in the musical. Please be sure to watch for weekly communications from Ms. Dana.
If your child doesn’t plan to perform, you can pick them up from The Middle School in The Cove (located in the UM Building) following the Traditional Worship service. Please be sure to register them for our free music programming!
