Praying With Jesus: Meditations on the Lord’s Prayer by Michael Lodahl
In Praying with Jesus, theologian, professor, and pastor Michael Lodahl encourages readers to pause and reflect on a very familiar text—The Lord’s Prayer. The short chapters written in a conversational style makes the book both accessible and reflective.
When Love Bends Down: Images of the Christ Who Meets Us Where We Are by Michael Lodahl
Through his own study and reflection, theologian, professor, and pastor Michael Lodahl began to notice how often in John’s gospel readers are presented with an image of Jesus bending low. From those reflections, Lodahl has written a brief book exploring just what it mean to follow a teacher who, as the subtitle tells us, “meets us where we are.”
We’ll meet in person in the Library / Meeting Room that’s located in the Lower Sanctuary.
