Join us for our annual Advent Choral Concert, always a crowd favorite.
Sung by the FUMCSD Masterwork Chorale and the Chancel Choir, the 2025 Advent Choral Concert takes place in the FUMCSD Sanctuary in Mission Valley on Saturday, December 13 at 4 PM. This concert will pair a classic composer, J.S. Bach, with a modern composer, Joanna Forbes L’Estrange. Audiences will be able to immediately recognize tunes from both pieces, as the choirs sing Bach’s Wachet ruft uns die Stimme (Sleepers wake) and L’Estrange’s piece, A Season to Sing, a choral reimagining of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.
