June 29 Topic

Each session will focus on different topics of conversation, so come to as many as fit in your schedule.

For June 29, we're focusing on Desired Neighbors & Relationship – examining which population is our top priority for our affordable housing project and how we'd like to be in relationship with our new neighbors. Please come prepared to discuss:

  • Demographics and income level focus, with options including Low-Income Families (30% to 80% Area Median Income (AMI) = $50k to $133k); Middle-Income Families (80% to 150% AMI = $133k to $196k); Low-Income Seniors; Low-Income US Military Veterans; Low-Income Special Need Individuals; Other.
  • How would you like to be in relationship with our neighbors? What would that look like for you? Think about the amount of interaction and types of interaction, such as: access to the New Life Counseling Center, shared communal spaces, potlucks, volunteer opportunities, and new church members.
