Prayers & Squares welcomes you to join the annual Fall Retreat that will be held on Friday, November 3, and Saturday, November 04, 9 AM to 2 PM. We will be making prayer quilts using the Warm Wishes pattern. This pattern is suitable for beginners, who are very much welcome to come and learn to make a quilt. The cost is $5 each day that includes lunch and fellowship with an icebreaker game, show and tell, and devotional.
We will provide assistance for beginners, a light lunch both days, fellowship and inspiration. If you don't want to bring your own fabric, we have prepared a few fabric kits. You can also “shop” in our stash for fabric at our regular meeting on Saturday, October 7 or Thursday, October 19, 9 – 10 AM. If you know how to sew but need to borrow a sewing machine, let us know. We will try to help. If you don't wish to bring your sewing machine and make a quilt, you are still welcome to work on the assembly of prayer quilts like layering and putting in the ties. If you have a prayer quilt from another retreat that you need to finish, this is a great time to do that.
