Sunday, December 24  |  5 PM  |  Christmas Pageant & Candle Lighting

First Church presents its annual Christmas Pageant, featuring the Carol, Altar, and Chapel choirs telling the story of Jesus' birth through scripture readings and music. Come and celebrate our Lord's birth in community with one another while participating in Christmas carols and candle lighting!

Sunday, December 24  |  8 PM  |  Lessons, Carols & Candle Lighting

Celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with great expectations of joy! Join our combined choirs and San Diego’s largest pipe organ for an inspiring time of worship. As we share the Christmas story from scripture along with choral music and congregational singing, the presence of Christ’s coming will be evident. Pastor Craig will bring an inspiring Christmas message about great expectations in the year that is to come. Our time together will conclude with candle lighting and the singing of Silent Night.

Sunday, December 24  |  10:30 PM  |  Christmas Communion & Candle Lighting

What better way is there to ring in Christmas Day than at midnight on Christmas Eve? Worship begins with instrumental music to center the spirit on the birth of the Christ Child. Our time of celebration includes choral music, Christmas carols, a message from Pastor Craig along with holy communion. Our special time of worship ends at the stroke of midnight with the singing of Silent Night by candlelight before we depart quietly into the early Christmas morning.
