Stephanie Smith

Music Administration Coordinator

Stephanie Smith is a coloratura soprano based in Southern California. Her previous operatic roles have included Barbarina and Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Laurette in Le doctuer miracle, and Amy in Little Women. Stephanie has performed with San Diego-based choral ensembles Musica Vitale, Vox Humana, and San Diego Bach Collegium, and was a 2026 finalist and recipient of the Trovillo-Graham Award of the San Diego Musical Merit Competition. Outside of her performance engagements, Stephanie has a love for teaching and directing. Stephanie holds a position at Seaside Arts Center where she teaches private piano, private and group singing, and music directs the musical theater productions. She has recently graduated from San Diego State University with her Master of Music in Vocal Performance where she also taught classes in group voice and music history, and directed two opera scenes productions.
