WE Return-to-Church Update

New worship opportunities for in-person and online starting June 20!

The Water’s Edge Faith Community, a congregation of First United Methodist Church of San Diego, values the call of Christ to love our neighbor as ourselves, to care for the most vulnerable among us and to build the beloved community of God with a place for everyone. With this in mind, we are re-gathering at the church campus, cautiously and inclusively! This is the plan today, but things are changing rapidly and the Task Force will make adjustments as needed.  And even more reason for excitement, the church leadership is visioning and preparing for a new normal with increased worship and ministry opportunities in the fall.

STARTING NOW

We welcome existing small groups back to church for in-person meetings and mission work, masked and distanced, while providing opportunities for those who cannot meet in person to participate online. Contact Rev. Jessica Strysko to get involved and to schedule a meeting.
