Sep 02, 2024
Summary
Join Rev. Trudy and Rev. Brittany as they wrap up the three-part series about travel and the Sankofa Pilgrimage, relating how we can be blessed and bless others as we move through the world. In this episode, the two pastors look at the story of Hagar, Sarai, and Abram in Genesis 16, uncovering the beauty of voices being heard when they’ve been mistreated and in pain. And they tie that back to the purpose of FUMCSD’s Sankofa Pilgrimage – recovering the voices of those we haven’t been listening to about the harsh treatment they’ve experienced in the United States.
