Starting Points

The spiritual journey is different for all people. We want to help you connect in ways that will help you learn, grow, and serve.  

We have found these Starting Points give people a strong foundation. However, whether you are ready to learn, to serve or are in need of support, we want to help guide you and support you on your journey. We encourage you to join a group to nurture your growing relationship with Christ; a course to learn and apply the Bible to your life; and to participate in mission opportunities to encounter Jesus in others.

 

Worship is key

Worship is key—We come together as a community to praise God and worship together during Service. Worship may also happen through a mission project, a concert, a small group or a class that explores questions of faith. No matter where you are, we welcome you, and we invite you to worship.

Alpha Course—Explore the big questions of life through this low-key, fun, and friendly course. We meet for supper and get to know each other. After watching a thought-provoking video, we break into smaller groups to discuss questions, doubts, and to grow in faith. A great starting point if you are new.

Journey 101—Coming soon. This course explores the purpose of a Christian community and how to become a deeply committed Christian. In a smaller group, you will meet others, get to know God and see how the Bible and Christian faith could change your life, and in turn transform the world.

Explore First Church—You are invited to gather for a meal and to spend some time with the pastors and staff. It will be a fun time to break bread, make some new friends and to explore membership. Check the Events listings for this monthly gathering.
