The Summer Choirs
Summer Choirs
The Summer Choirs provide the anthems for all sanctuary worship services each Sunday during July and August. We sing all kinds of music from sacred traditional music by famous composers to music hot off the press.
This is a great opportunity for first-timers who want to try singing in a choir without stress and for experienced singers who want a relaxed singing experience.
- No auditions.
- You don't need to be a church member; all are welcome.
- Familiar songs—reading music is not required.
- Six professionals including full-time music director, accompanist, and four section leaders.
- Sing at any or all sanctuary worship services
- We are sometimes accompanied by handbells, brass, percussion, flute and other instruments as well as piano and organ.
We sing at the 8, 9:30 and 11 AM services in the sanctuary. The first warmups begin at 7:30 AM. Refreshments are served between services.
