The Parenting Children Course

For those parenting
0 to 10-year-olds

Wednesdays, May 2–30, 2012
4 PM–5:45 PM in the Cove
Led by Rev. Dr. Elbert Kim

Cost: $20 per family
Free for families with children enrolled at the Children's Growing Center.

No childcare provided. Children of CGC families will remain at the Center. Registration required

District Summer Camps

Our wonderful cast:
Russell as Jesus; Disciples were Joshua, Ty, Timothy, Kaden, and Kwinn; narrated by Kaliey, Katie, and Danya. And additional actors were Chase, Dean, Leighann, Leah, Lucy, Owen, Luke, Ashley, Emily, Annebelle, Spring, Charleena, Ashley, Finley, Richard, Annice, Gillian, and Megan.

Our biggest thanks to Erin and Sage, Donna and Todd, and all those other hands that helped! We are also grateful to our Communications Department for all the help and our wonderful Pastors for the approval of this vision!

Children’s Church
K–Grade 5

9:20–10 AM

During most of the school year (except for summer recess) students K–Grade 5 are invited to take part in a special children’s church service in the Trotter Chapel. (Map)
Join us for worship, prayer, scripture, the Message, and once a month communion. 

Sunday School

10–10:30 AM

After Children’s Church, our Sunday school teachers escort the students to their different age-level Sunday School groups.

Our Children's Ministry gives you the tools you need to nurture the spiritual growth within your family. Through our many programs we offer ways for children of all ages to learn about Christianity. We invite and welcome you to become part of our extended church family.
• Grade 2–3 Upper Elementary Building Room 3 and 4
• Grade 4–5 Upper Elementary Building Rooms 1 and 2

Nursery care during the Sunday Services

During our Sunday services, you are welcome to drop off your infant–2 1/2-year-old in our Nursery Care. See Campus map 

• 8 AM–noon. Toddler Room, located below the Sanctuary.

Would you like to become a teacher in the Children's Sunday School classrooms?

Our Sunday School teachers are all background-checked and must meet with Beckie Henselmeier, Director of Children's Ministry, prior to being assigned to a classroom.

Sunday school teachers meet for preparation meetings every Sunday at 8:45 AM in the Trotter Chapel sitting- room.
