Journey through the Bible
We will journey through the story of Jesus' birth this spring, and then about the kingdom of God through Jesus' teachings and parables. It is our goal that through study, prayer, worship, and play, your children will grow in their faith from these stories! Children ages three through fifth grade will learn about the events of Holy Week (Jesus washing the disciple's feet, the Passover meal, Jesus praying in the garden, Palm Sunday, and the resurrection!). Then they will learn about Paul, his conversion, some of his miraculous escapes from trouble, and people he served alongside such as Lydia and Silas. Finally this quarter, the children's ministry will learn about more of the community of believers in the early church, Peter and Cornelius, Pentecost, and when people were first called Christians. We hope to support your family as you journey in faith together —a blessed and awesome responsibility!
