difference! Through the years, we have been known as “the Bible
Study Class for Parents with Children Living at Home.” While many
of us still have children living at home, we are now looking at
the next stage of parenthood. We will now become known as the
Bible Study Class for Parents of Adolescents.
If you have adolescent children, living at home or not, please
join us for our new Bible study, “Empty Nesters,” in which we will
prayerfully look forward.

A new small group for families with small children is now
forming. The group, Growing Together, emphasizes fellowship, study

We gather for a monthly social under the guidance of the Social

advised of what is going on.
Tender Loving Christians
(TLC)
9:30 , Linder Hall 4. Class tradition of social concern and
action. (TLC) Presentations and discussion led by class members,
invited speakers, and the clergy.
Our class originated in 1978 with an emphasis on the implications
of practical Christianity in the modern world. We provide lunches
for single women at Rachel House and participate in the “Fill the
Cooler” project in support of the Food Ministry. TLC members were
instrumental in forming the San Diego chapter of Habitat for
Humanity, and have ongoing interest in supporting it.
We strive individually and collectively to live up to the
tradition of tender, loving, caring Christians as embodied in our
class name. All are welcome to visit our class or join our
fellowship.
