Small Group Ministries

Are you looking for a way to get closer to God? Do want to get to know more people in your faith community?

If you answered "Yes" to either or both of these questions, joining a Wesley Fellowship Small Group might be just the ministry you're looking for. These ongoing small groups build a Christian community that develops a person's spiritual life and nurtures caring relationships with each other at the same time.

Groups meet twice a month (generally in homes), spend some time in fellowship over coffee and snacks, do some sharing about individual faith journeys, share in a prayer time with each other, and watch a video about faith practices, followed by discussion. Or discuss a chapter in a study book that each person has read prior to the meeting. Each group has a facilitator, and consists of 4 to 10 people. Groups meet at variety of times, days of the week and locations throughout the city, and new groups are constantly forming.

One of the church's priorities for 2007 is to enable persons to "get connected," both to God and each other.
